Walking is a one of the best and the healthiest ways to lose on weight. Brisk walking for 30 to 60 minutes will speed up your metabolism and make fat burns during all day after walk. If you want to lose weight you should try to increase your activity, or decrease eating, or both. For the beginners time of walking isn’t the crucial parameter. Key is in distance. It is important to start with sensible goal and day after day speed up your walking and increase distance till the one hour brisk walking.

The some rules suggest walking a mile for 13-15 minutes and it will burn about 180 calories for 185 pound person. This speed will produce arms and hand motion and it makes more muscle groups active. Those muscles will burn more calories.

Benefits of one hour of walking could speed up your metabolism for the next 24 hours, so it is the best to walk every day. On the other hand your body won’t be tired for this kind of activity. This is one of the reasons why walking is better then running.

Walking is the simplest way to get you on higher level of health and fitness. Everybody can take this opportunity to achieve many walking benefits. Here are some walking benefits in our list, but there are many more:
